kinda disapointed

I dunno.
Is my work so rubbish it should be tucked away in a corner barely noticable to anyone.
Or am I being unreasonable in my expectations.

TONIGHT!

For anyone in or near brisbane. Tonight is KILN's turn at the BARI festival.
I tried to make it out to the other gallerys, but things are so crazy lately I didnt get the time to. I feel pretty slack about that. but anyways.
Tonight I'll be at KILN. maybe from 6ish onwards. My people skills absolutly suck! so please come and say hi, I'll be the one gibbering in the corner ;p

1 Ive been a vegitarian for nearly a decade.

2 When I was little I wanted to be superman.

3 Im working on a piece at the moment thats making me yawn like crazy. And its not cos Im bored or tired! (pictures in a week or so)

4 I could never colour inside the lines in colouring books. I tried, really I did.

5 Im not sure what makes me happier, making art or collecting art :s

6 Im not an arrogant snob! Im just incredibley socialy inept :( Hermitage does that to people.

So scared!

In exactly 1 month from now I'll be on a plane on my way to the UK, the start of my 3 month backpacking adventure. Hopefuly I'll survive as my health has not been too good and it gets worse with the cold (and of course I'll be traveling during autumn! seems Im chasing the cold round the world grr). Main destinations aside from london are Svalbard(-10 degrees!!!), Morrocco and Japan.
I'll be taking alot of paper and pencils because one of the main things Im looking forward to is just sketching alot! funny that I should be traveling around the world to sketch heh.

News Exciting/busy times!

Some updates.
Firstly, I'm in the upcoming BARI festival! I'm so happy about this. I'll have 4 maybe 5 works in it. 3 will be new works. 28-31 august

Also I shall be taking part in a smaller group exhibition also at KILN called ' The Illustrators' on 3rd of October. 10 artists with between 5 and 10 works each. This is also very exciting for me. Unfortunately It's on while I'm overseas! Which means I have to have all the paintings sorted for before I go. I'll be including some of the older works to help add a few numbers so I wont go insane with all the painting. I tried to change my flights so I could be around for this one as it would be a really awesome experience, plus they'll have some industry professionals there too. But short or forking out another grand, my flights stay as they are.

So there has been and will continue to be alot of painting going on over the next 5 weeks.

Oh god! Just 5 weeks till I head off overseas for a 3 month backpacking adventure. Its gonna be tight. with the travel expenses and now health bills... well its back to living off 2 min noodles! If anyone has any tips on accommodation money savers for Norway and/or Japan, I'm all ears :)
