Seriously, it was just beyond words. a whole week on a sailing ship (a schooner) no phone no internet no connection at all with the outside world. just us on the boat and the extreme evironment outside. The people on board were simply amazing, the dynamic of them all fantastic. I truely enjoyed myself more than I thought was possible.
No polar bears :( but we did see northern lights which was just awesome. It feels like a dream now, but one I hope i'll always remember.
I barely even did any drawing, I was too busy enjoying myself.
Now Im in luxembourg and shall soon be in morocco. Looking forward to the amazing contrast.

awwww crap
have you seen the value of the aussie dollar lately!! Im so totally screwed.
good thing im not traveling in the states though, just a few months ago we werent far from parity, but now! there goes any future art purchases from there :(
not that I coud afford to for like THE REST OF MY LIFE after this trip. The cost of everythig for me has just increased significantly, Im already on an extremely tight budget, so this is baaad news. thank god all the trips and flights are paid for. From now on its toast for breaky and 2min noodles for dinner. I may have to take to busking for my dinner lol.
Apart from that, Ive been in a really good mood since my last post. Ive changed hostels to a nice secure one that also serves massive breakfast (so I stock up there to last me the day) but of course its also more expensive. price to pay for peace of mind.
Im off to Bergen tomorrow for a few days then on up to svalbard!!! Im really looking forward to this and totally freaking out too, its gona be sooo cold. its already -3 there. I hope the weather is alright ad that I get to see the polar lights.

and finally...
...I can feel that cold thats been sitting in the back of my head since I left really start to take root. :(
They turned out to be canadian redneck fucks....and as annoying as they were Id gladly take that 18 bed room back rather than be in the place I am now. Its only 8 bed, also a mixed dorm. However this place has a really unsafe feeling abuot it. I mean the reception is nice and so are the rooms, but (and god how i hate saying this) there are immigrents everywhere. Which is fine! but the way they gang together gives off a really unsafe feeling. They hang around at the entry of the hostel and harrass people. and Ive heard stories that they come in at night trying to find unlocked doors T.T
So so far my impression of Oslo is not so great. there are major roadworks everwhere, a weird feeling of hostility in the air and Im getting a frekin cold! 4 nights is too long in this place :( and here I thought my trip was looking up.

Greetings from stockholm
Gorgeous weather today, literally not a cloud in the sky (though it was colder for it). Its amazing what a few hours of decent sleep and a clear day can do to improve a mood.
S'not all good though, Im staying in a hostel.....16 bed MIXED dorm!. Dumb move. Im one of 2 girls in it and most of the others are american redneck fucks. Arrogant males with the foulest mouths Ive heard in a long time. Constantly bragging about the chicks theyve had. all are trying to get one back to the hostel. I doubt their chances but it wouldnt be the first time Ive been in a dorm trying to ignore the huff huffs and squeak squeaks.
Lame. really really lame.
So far there seems to be an aversion to having internet cafes with proper computers in them :s Theres just the screen with the computer behind a wall. which means theres no USB to plug into, which also means I cant upload any photos :( Not that Ive taken any outstand shots, but it might make these posts a bit more interesting.
