Post Telos

Think Im just gonna do this in one fell swoop so I can start updating normally.

Post Telos had been an immensely messed up and busy time. I moved yet again, I adopted a kitty (Gizmo)Worked my ass off at work, went through some messed up family stuf and tried coming to terms with the emotional repercussions of all that and came out being a nihilist. Had alot of art type stuff at the beginning of the year and was in a number of group shows, but then pretty much just stopped around March. More recently the painting has been picking up as there a new shows coming up and Im more in love with painting than ever, and more comfortable with being in love with it, if that makes sense. Ive come to certain realisations about the amount of stress and effort i was putting into my day job and the people there; These have made my life there a bit mixed but Im valuing the parts that are worth valuing, this alone has freed up my mind and energy enough to allow me to actually put paint to timber.

And most recently I had a 2 week holiday over in New Zealand, a busy holiday, not exactly relaxing, but fantastic! spent most of it with my dad just driving round the south island, and of course I did some skiing in their beautiful powder snow.

Now Im preparing for another solo in 2 months (nearly a year on and after I vowed never to have a solo again in my life), and a number of other shows in between or soon after. Im very excited about the things I'll be working on in the comming months, and very interested to see where life goes now and less caught up in where I think it SHOULD go.
